HOURS OF WORK: 5 days out of 7, including weekends
SALARY: Β£35,000 - Β£38,00 per annum β Salary can be discussed depending on experience
About the role;
We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Restaurant Manager for Fratelli, Roe Valley Resort. Your main role will be to manage all day-to-day operational issues relating to the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager ensuring we provide the highest quality services and experiences to all our visiting guestswhilst working within wage, purchasing, and sales budgets.

The main responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to;
- Managing all day-to-day operational issues relating to the restaurant including staffing, training,rostering,purchasing, and managing budgets in the absence of the restaurant manager.
- Ensuring that the restaurant is run efficiently on a day-to-day basis with adequate staff cover at all times.
- Liaising with the restaurant manager and Head Chef on a daily basis andcollaborating closely to drive sales and continually improve standards of food, menus, and service.
- Oversee dining reservations using ResDiary, managing all seating allocations, customer comments, and reservation notes.
- Assisting in the management of drink stocks and ordering restaurant supplies.
- Address any customer complaints directly either face-to-face, via email, TripAdvisor, and/or social media channels.
- Carrying out the opening and closing procedures of the restaurant, including till reconciliations and otherkey holder duties.
- Demonstrating effective communication skills with staff and managers at all levels.
- Assisting in the training and development of all restaurant staff.
- Attend regular senior management meetings and hold regular staff meetings with the restaurant team.
- Attend any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.
The person:
Applicants must:
- Have at least 1 year of supervisory experience within a bar/restaurant.
- Have experience working in a high pace, busy hospitality environment.
- Have experience incarrying out opening and closing procedures of a restaurantincluding till reconciliations and otherkey holder duties.
- Hold adequate ICT skills.
- Be able to demonstrate an ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team.
- You must be performance-driven with a focus on implementing a culture of excellent customer service.
- Have good organisational skills, be able to work well while under pressure, and show initiative whilst multi-tasking.
- Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand.
