Accounts Assistant

At Galeta, we don’t just bake – we raise the bar. You’ll find our hand-crafted bakes in Selfridges, Tate, Curzon and some of the best cafés and restaurants across the UK. We’re growing fast, and our finance team is key to keeping the whole operation running smooth as butter.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant who’s not afraid to get stuck in. You’ll be the backbone of our day-to-day finance operations, handling ledgers, balancing books, and helping us stay sharp and on time.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

● Keeping our purchase and sales ledgers neat and tidy

● Reconciling banks and ledgers so everything adds up

● Supporting month-end close and financial reporting

● Posting journals for accruals and prepayments

● Assisting with VAT returns and payroll tasks

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

● AAT part-qualified or fully qualified (or equivalent)

● 5+ years in a similar finance role

● Bonus points if you’ve worked with SAGE 200

● You’ve got a sharp eye for detail and a practical mindset

THE DETAILS

● 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday – this is an office-based role

● You’ll need the right to work in the UK

● Pay– £30,000-£35,000 per year
