GALENT Recruitment are working exclusively with a highly successful property investment and management business to recruit a Trainee Assistant Client Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a numerically minded individual looking to establish or further develop a career within finance and accounting. Previous client accounting or property experience is not required. The Finance Director is committed to training the right individual and believes that attitude, aptitude and willingness to learn are more important than industry experience.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & BENEFITS

  • Full training provided by an experienced Finance Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing daily receipts and bank reconciliations
  • Allocating rental income and investigating unidentified transactions
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and client account balances
  • Assisting with arrears reporting and management
  • Supporting supplier and landlord payment processes
  • Preparing and reviewing landlord statements
  • Producing financial reports and management information
  • Assisting with property profit and loss reporting
  • Liaising with colleagues and senior management regarding financial matters
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Our client is keen to hire as soon as possible. Candidates who are immediately available will be viewed particularly favourably, although applicants with up to one month's notice period will also be considered.
