GALENT are recruiting for an Accounts & Finance Administrator opportunity within the commercial services / operations industry based in Manchester.

Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices, purchase orders and payment runs (Accounts Payable).
- Raising customer invoices, recording payments and supporting credit control (Accounts Receivable).
- Assisting with payroll administration and maintaining accurate payroll-related records.
- Using Sage 50 to post transactions, reconcile accounts and support routine reporting.
- Supporting month-end routines including reconciliations and basic reports.
- Providing general administrative support to finance and operations as the role develops.
- Maintaining organised and accurate financial documentation and filing systems.
- Supporting ad-hoc operational tasks during busy periods or as required.
Ideal candidate attributes/skills:
- Previous experience within accounts or finance administration (AP/AR).
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers.
- Organised, reliable and able to manage workload independently.
- Experience with Sage 50 (advantageous but not essential).
- A proactive mindset with willingness to understand the wider business.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator with a positive, hands-on approach.
