Galebreaker handles projects of varying complexity across both agricultural and commercial sectors. The Project Support Technician will adapt standard products to meet specific project needs from initiation to installation, while also assisting the Product Support Specialist in providing technical support for agricultural and commercial products.
Key responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Galebreaker Project Manager and/or customer to gather structural information, arrange site surveys, and obtain design approvals.
- Conduct UK site surveys to ensure accurate product fit.
- Interpret client structural drawings.
- Adapt existing designs and methodologies for detailed project design.
- Produce bespoke production drawings for internal use and external suppliers.
- Diagnose and resolve in-field product issues within existing project systems.
- Provide technical support via site visits, phone, and WhatsApp to customers and installation teams.
- Regularly visit sites and assist with installations to enhance product and technical knowledge.
Skills, knowledge & experience required:
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles applicable to Galebreaker's products and systems.
- Proficiency in 2D CAD (essential) and 3D CAD (desirable), ideally using Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; client-facing experience is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a technical environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; willingness to learn new IT tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to evolving situations.
- Full UK driving licence.
