About the role Galeassociates is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager specializing in building enclosures to join our team in Glastonbury, Connecticut. What you'll do

  • Lead and manage multiple building enclosure projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure design specifications are met and that all work complies with relevant codes and standards.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle, implementing proactive solutions to mitigate issues before they escal.
  • Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned on project goals and timelines.
  • Prepare and present project proposals, budgets, and timelines to clients and internal stakeholders, demonstrating a clear understanding of project scope and deliverables.
  • Mentor and guide junior project team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to building enclosures, integrating innovative solutions into project planning and execution.
  • Manage project financials, including tracking expenses, forecasting budgets, and ensuring profitability on all projects.
  • Assist in business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and participating in client meetings and presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the building enclosure or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on quality and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to building enclosures.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
