Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Development, Study Design & Conduct: Provide scientific input to ensure clinical development activities align with regulatory guidance and scientific rationale. Conduct literature searches to support clinical development strategy and study design decisions. Lead the development of clinical study designs (Phase I-III) and manage the development of study protocols, amendments, and clinical study reports (CSRs). Ensure study endpoints and assessments are clinically meaningful and scientifically appropriate. Provide oversight to contractor Medical Writers and review informed consent forms (ICFs). Act as a key point of contact during study execution and ensure appropriate filing of clinical documents.
  • Data Interpretation & Scientific Contribution: Review and interpret clinical data in collaboration with the Study Team and support the preparation of internal data review materials.
  • Regulatory & Clinical Documentation: Contribute to and author clinical sections of regulatory documents, including IND/CTA submissions and Investigator's Brochures (IBs). Manage the annual update of the IB.
  • SOP & Template Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of departmental SOPs and clinical document templates.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5-10 years in clinical research or development within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environment. Hands-on experience in clinical study design and documentation.
  • Technical & Regulatory Skills: Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and clinical development regulations. Familiarity with TMF requirements and governance activities is an advantage.
  • Core Competencies: Strong scientific judgment, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deliverables in a cross-functional environment.
