Location: London, UK

Purpose of the Job: Lead in adverse event and medical information management and support the Head of Pharmacovigilance in ensuring compliance with Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP) and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage mailbox and triage reports to identify AEs, MIs, and PQCs.
  • Respond to medical information inquiries using available documentation and resources following SOPs/WIs and regulatory guidelines.
  • Log and follow up on adverse event reports according to SOPs/WIs and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with GVP.
  • Support global PV follow-up requests.
  • Represent pharmacovigilance in cross-functional collaborations.
  • Assist the Local Safety Officer with pharmacovigilance activities, including market research oversight, reconciliation, and SOP/WI writing.

Profile Requirements and Competencies:

Key Skills / Experience Required:

  • Degree in medicine, pharmacy, or bioscience.
  • 3-6 years of pharmacovigilance experience in pharma or biopharma.
  • Experience with adverse event case management.
  • Good understanding of local pharmacovigilance activities.
  • Customer service experience (preferred but not essential).
