Location: London, UK
Purpose of the Job: Lead in adverse event and medical information management and support the Head of Pharmacovigilance in ensuring compliance with Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP) and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage mailbox and triage reports to identify AEs, MIs, and PQCs.
- Respond to medical information inquiries using available documentation and resources following SOPs/WIs and regulatory guidelines.
- Log and follow up on adverse event reports according to SOPs/WIs and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with GVP.
- Support global PV follow-up requests.
- Represent pharmacovigilance in cross-functional collaborations.
- Assist the Local Safety Officer with pharmacovigilance activities, including market research oversight, reconciliation, and SOP/WI writing.
Profile Requirements and Competencies:
Key Skills / Experience Required:
- Degree in medicine, pharmacy, or bioscience.
- 3-6 years of pharmacovigilance experience in pharma or biopharma.
- Experience with adverse event case management.
- Good understanding of local pharmacovigilance activities.
- Customer service experience (preferred but not essential).
