You are part of Indirect Procurement, managing indirect spend via a matrixed organization (category cluster and market procurement setup). We are on a Perform and Transform journey creating value for Galderma and Procurement. This makes indirect procurement engaging and offers professional growth opportunities.
Through category management, you will deliver strategic stakeholder & supplier relationship management, build solutions enabling cost reduction and growth. You will be part of a highly engaged team acting with integrity and a can-do attitude.
Your main tasks:
- Ensure integration & leverage of market needs into procurement strategies
- Define requirements, identify, qualify, and select suppliers
- Negotiate with key suppliers & leverage global volume
- Act as expert in local requirements and Spend Master
- Secure industry compliance
- Apply category policies and operational guidelines
- Manage demand & spend: price, quantity, and gatekeeping
- Execute savings plans
- Optimize processes
- Support sourcing/purchasing needs in countries
- Translate global strategies for local execution
- Lead business reviews with strategic suppliers & review KPIs (BRM)
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business field
- Category management experience
- Experience in a mature, strategic procurement environment in Pharma, industrial, or FMCG sectors
- Experience in a regulated environment is a plus
- Lean, 6 Sigma knowledge is a plus
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel
- Coupa experience is a plus
- Strong negotiation, independence, motivation, and self-motivation
- Strategic and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to change quickly
- Ability to influence stakeholders and lead sourcing projects
