Overview
In this role you will lead Galderma’s global Operations Excellence transformation, driving end-to-end lean initiatives across manufacturing and supply. You will align cross-functional teams, set clear metrics, and accelerate improvements to achieve high OEE and cost efficiency. The position offers global exposure, reporting to the Global Head of Operations, with a focus on culture, capability, and sustainable change. You will shape the ongoing transformation with scalable practices and executive-level influence. Barcelona or London based, with a strategic mandate to elevate operations across the company.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the end-to-end Operations Excellence transformation across global supply, industrial and manufacturing sites, targeting 85%+ OEE.
- Lead annual strategy planning for Operations using Hoshin planning and dashboard accountability.
- Conduct value stream analyses, Kaizen events, and supplier forums to drive lean improvements.
- Provide lean master/sensei support, develop capability, and ensure event objectives are achieved.
- Advance lean CI and culture, monitor cross-functional dashboards, and promote standardized practices.
- Assess performance, rationalize, and increase agility through cross-functional collaboration.
- Apply Lean and Six-Sigma tools to meet objectives, facilitate daily visual management, RCCA, and problem-solving.
- Advise and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver Lean strategy while maintaining quality and cost goals.
- Coach teams on daily performance, conduct Gemba walks, and lead standard work and 5S/RCCA implementation.
- Coordinate Lean/Six Sigma activities and leverage tool champions for large-scale events.
Key requirements
- Background in manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or engineering within a large global organization, including site leadership.
- Master Black Belt in Six Sigma or equivalent qualification.
- Automotive or cost-focused industry experience preferred.
- People management, project management, and digital transformation experience.
- Qualified Trainer certification and professional body membership advantageous.
