This role will report to the Global Digital Marketing & Platforms Experience Director and will work hand in hand with the regions and markets to run and deliver digital marketing capabilities (websites and applications, content playbook, digital engagement strategies, user journeys, dashboarding, roll-out project management).
The Global Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for:
- Follow and track latest industry and digital trends and reflect these within the company's digital ecosystem
- Understand customer needs as well as market and business needs, and translate them into a comprehensive strategy
- Translate strategy into detailed user journeys and leverage these journeys to create digital assets and playbooks
- Supervise and oversee work provided by digital agencies in collaboration with global teams, agencies, and markets
- Distribute and roll-out platforms, playbooks and digital assets to markets and support with execution
- Partner with IT to develop cutting-edge platforms and websites for web applications and services that address business and customer needs
- Define KPI frameworks to continuously measure effectiveness and improve performance, and use them to create dashboards for monitoring progress or take decisions
Job Responsibilities:
- Leverage market research and run user interviews to capture and formalize primary customer needs and expectations
- Work with Director of Customer Engagement and digital agencies to define the strategy and evolution plan of our digital platforms
- Produce detailed user journeys across and for each of our digital platforms aligned with the defined strategy
- In collaboration with our leading markets, work with the digital agency to produce all required digital assets and playbooks to be shared globally
- Support markets in adapting and rolling out all centrally produced and relevant platforms and playbooks
- Run regular and standardized localization meetings with relevant market teams to ensure effective and efficient project management practices
- Supervise the creation of relevant and action-oriented dashboards to provide regular reporting on KPIs to internal stakeholders and monitor the performance of rolled-out platforms and digital assets
- Translate performance insights into a prioritized roadmap and backlog to guide future platform enhancements and content development
- Be an active member and coordinator of a cross-functional team, including members from Customer Education, Brands, IT and agencies
Job Requirements:
- University Degree in Business Management, General Management or comparable
- Previous experience in a multinational company in a global role managing branded and unbranded websites, social media channels and related analytics
- Experience working and coordinating with multiple markets and internal stakeholders in parallel
- Must be familiar with digital and agile project management practices, e.g. Kanban, Scrum, etc.
- Localization process, ability to understand and interact with IT and technical teams
- Ability to articulate specific business goals and requirements
- Demonstrable experience at building and delivering digital marketing strategy and related campaign material
- Experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats and running a full compliance review workflow
- Strong understanding of CRM principles (Salesforce preferred)
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role in the pharma industry
- English fluency is a must, ideally native speaker
