Job title: Regional Head of Human Resources EMEAC

Location: Zug (Switzerland), London (UK), or Frankfurt (Germany) - 3-4 days/week onsite

Reports to: CHRO

Role purpose

The Regional Head of HR EMEAC provides strategic HR leadership for Galderma across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Canada. This role partners closely with regional business leadership to shape and execute the people strategy, enable business growth, drive organizational effectiveness, and ensure consistent application of Galderma’s global HR policies and values across diverse markets.

Key responsibilities

Strategic HR leadership Develop and implement the EMEAC people strategy aligned with Galderma’s global HR and business priorities.

Act as primary HR business partner to the EMEAC regional leadership team, providing insight, challenge, and guidance on organizational and talent decisions.

Translate business objectives into clear HR plans and priorities for the region, including workforce planning, capability building, and organization design.

Organization & talent Lead regional talent management processes, including succession planning for critical roles and high‑potential development.

Drive strategic workforce planning, including build‑buy‑borrow‑bot decisions and resource allocation across markets and functions.

Support organizational design and change initiatives to ensure structures, roles, and ways of working enable performance and collaboration.

Culture, engagement & leadership Champion Galderma’s culture and values across EMEAC, ensuring they are embedded in leadership, people processes, and daily behaviours.

Use engagement and pulse survey data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and collaborate with leaders on action plans.

Coach senior leaders on inclusive leadership, performance management, and effective people management.

HR operations & governance Ensure consistent and compliant implementation of HR policies, processes, and employment practices across EMEAC, working closely with local HR and Legal where needed.

Oversee regional alignment on compensation & benefits frameworks, performance management, and recognition, in partnership with global COEs.

Monitor HR KPIs (e.g. attrition, internal mobility, time‑to‑hire, diversity metrics) and drive continuous improvement across the region.

Business partnering & collaboration Build strong partnerships with Country HR Heads and HR COEs (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Reward, etc.) to deliver integrated HR solutions.

Act as a key liaison between global HR and EMEAC countries to ensure two‑way communication of priorities, feedback, and local needs.

Contribute to global HR projects and initiatives, bringing an EMEAC perspective and ensuring regional deployment.

Change & transformation Lead or support regional change programs (e.g. reorganizations, integrations, new operating models), ensuring robust change and communication plans.

Drive adoption of HR systems and digital tools in the region, supporting data quality, self‑service, and user experience.

Risk, compliance & ethics Ensure HR practices in the region adhere to Galderma policies, local labor law, data privacy requirements, and ethical standards.

Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Privacy on employment‑related risk management, investigations, and remediation, as appropriate.

Qualifications & experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field; Master’s degree or equivalent HR qualification is an advantage. Significant HR leadership experience including leading HR in complex, multi‑country, matrix environments. Proven track record as a strategic HR Business Partner to senior leaders, ideally in healthcare, pharma, consumer health, or related industries. Demonstrated experience in organization design, change management, and talent management at regional or global level. Strong understanding of employment practices across key EMEAC markets; experience working across multiple cultures and legal frameworks. Fluent in English; additional European languages are an asset.

Strong coaching and advisory capabilities, with the ability to challenge constructively. Data‑driven decision making, comfortable using HR analytics to identify issues and shape actions. Working conditions

Role based in Zug, Frankfurt or London, with regular travel across the EMEAC region as required. Operates in a hybrid, international, matrix environment, collaborating closely with business leaders and HR colleagues globally.
