Job Description

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for data-driven insights and sales process optimization? Do you excel at streamlining operations and driving growth? We\’re looking for an exceptional Sales Operations Manager to join our team and elevate our sales organization.

The AX Sales Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence within the AX sales organization by overseeing the effective use of internal dashboards and software. This role supports sales strategy, reporting, forecasting, and process optimization, ensuring alignment between sales, finance, training, marketing, and customer service teams.

The role requires a highly organized individual, confident in consulting with internal and external stakeholders on various projects. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, are essential.

A proactive, solution-focused self-starter who can prioritize and initiate various sales and marketing operations and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Ax Head of Sales and Ax Head of Marketing to support the execution of annual plans for the Ax Business Unit.
  • Redesign and improve processes through end-to-end process mapping to enhance efficiency and net work hour gains. Develop and implement sales strategies, processes, and systems to boost productivity and revenue.
  • Coordinate and deliver key events, projects, and tasks accurately and timely, with attention to detail.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of staff.
  • Manage logistics and delegate tasks for UK and international meetings, conferences, and events, including on-site coordination.
  • Handle purchasing and budget monitoring, including raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and analyzing spend versus budget.
  • Support the development and approval of Sales & Marketing materials, ensuring compliance with standards and timely deployment.
  • Coordinate with external agencies for production, storage, distribution, and destruction of materials according to SOPs.
  • Monitor and analyze tactical projects, competitor activity, campaigns, and event effectiveness to identify improvements. Analyze sales data to find trends and opportunities.
  • Oversee sampling processes, ensuring compliance and reporting.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring adherence to the Commercial Policy and manage outsourced sales force performance.
  • Provide support in data reporting, presentations, and analysis for the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Maintain updated, compliant documentation and files.
  • Support various projects and tasks as needed, maintaining flexibility during high workload periods.
  • Adhere to company policies, SOPs, and relevant industry codes of practice, including ABPI and ABHI standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, preferably in B2B environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM/ERP systems, and data management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with cross-functional collaboration experience.
