Key Responsibilities- Support the preparation of consolidated annual and interim financial statements in accordance with IFRS, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the application of IFRS to complex transactions, including share‑based payments, financial instruments and hedge accounting, revenue recognition, segment reporting, impairment testing, acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, and leases.
- Independently manage Galderma's share‑based payment accounting administration, including quarterly calculations in accordance with IFRS 2 and local accounting standards (particularly Swiss accounting standards), working closely with Group FP&A, HR, and other stakeholders.
- Independently manage IAS 19 pension accounting and coordinate Group‑level reporting.
- Independently prepare the annual impairment test in accordance with IAS 36.
- Prepare accounting memoranda in accordance with IFRS and support the ongoing maintenance and development of the Galderma Group Accounting Manual and accounting policies.
- Support the Consolidation Team in the monthly consolidation process and reporting to the Group CFO.
- Act as a key point of contact for local and Group finance teams on IFRS accounting, reporting, and consolidation matters.
- Develop and deliver accounting training to finance teams across the organisation.
- Support special projects, including mergers and acquisitions, system migrations, and process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with external auditors throughout audit processes.
- Regular travel within Europe.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 7‑10 years of experience in group accounting/consolidation roles in multi‑national or global setting, accounting advisory or audit in Big4.
- Advanced knowledge in IFRS accounting and reporting, particularly IFRS2,3,8,9,15,16 and IAS12,19,36,37,38.
- Knowledge of consolidation tools is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
