Galbraith is a diverse multi-disciplinary Firm of Property Consultants with offices across Northern England and Scotland, specialising in the rural, forestry, energy, commercial, building surveying and residential sectors with a growing presence in the emerging Natural Capital sector.

We are looking for a Surveyor to join our busy Rural Team in Hexham to provide specialist knowledge of rural assets to our clients across the North of England. This role is based in Hexham; however, travel to other offices and client sites offers great variety day to day.

Your New Role

  • Involvement in all aspects of rural consultancy, valuation and professional work undertaken by the firm.
  • Assisting senior colleagues and taking a lead role in the management of estates and rural property as the needs of the business demands.
  • Valuations of all types of property and property related interests.
  • General property consultancy including planning, wayleaves, sporting rights, access negotiations, diversification project.

The Successful Candidate

You will be a recently qualified surveyor, who is looking for a new challenge. Highly motivated and a self-starter, you will be able to demonstrate a strong ability to develop relationships and promote new business ideas, acting as an ambassador for the firm, promoting its services at all opportunities. The role will involve travel and therefore a full driving licence and own vehicle is essential.
