Role overview

There is a unique opportunity for a Senior Client Accountant to join the Rural Client Accounts team based in Stirling. The role is offered on a hybrid basis following an initial period of training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Head of Client Accounting; be a key contact for clients and ensure the delivery of all reporting to your pool.
  • Support the wider portfolio of clients and develop and support the team with financial analysis and financial reporting in line with client requirements.
  • Support the wider Rural surveying team and identify ways to improve processes.
  • Approve banking transactions in accordance with RICS Client Money Regulations and VAT returns.

To be successful

  • Part qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Excel and Xero.
  • Experience in both management and year-end reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work as part of a team and develop in the role.
