Your New Opportunity

Galbraith is a diverse multi-disciplinary Firm of Property Consultants with offices across Northern England and Scotland, specialising in the rural, forestry, energy, commercial, building surveying and residential sectors with a growing presence in the emerging Natural Capital sector.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Surveyor to join our busy Rural Team in our Inverness office to provide specialist knowledge of rural assets to our clients across Scotland. Although primarily based in Inverness the role will require travel to other offices and client locations as required.

Your New Role

As a graduate you will get involved in all aspects of rural consultancy, valuation and professional work undertaken by the Firm. Importantly, you will learn and provide general consultancy to clients and gain the ability to consult on matters connected with all types of property, property maintenance and improvement.

You will work across a variety of property types and clients and have the opportunity to develop your skills in a supported learning environment, whilst working towards your APC.

The Successful Candidate

You will currently be working towards your APC or be willing to undertake the necessary training to become a Chartered Rural Surveyor. A basic knowledge of farming and rural estates is also advantageous. You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic, be able to demonstrate a strong ability to develop relationships and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will act as an ambassador for the firm, promoting its services at all opportunities.

The role will involve travel and therefore a full driving licence and own vehicle is essential.
