We are seeking a skilled Python developer to join our dynamic Financial Engineering team; where you'll build innovative reporting solutions that drive key financial decisions. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and finance, tackling complex challenges in a fast‑paced, impact‑driven environment. You should have a strong background in software development, expert level knowledge of SQL, and a good understanding of crypto trading. You should have the ability to work independently, have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a desire to own issues and see them through to resolution.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with the Finance Engineering team to maintain and enhance existing solutions
  • Work with internal Finance and Accounting clients to develop new solutions
  • Provide first‑line support to internal clients. This involves dealing with queries from clients and identifying and resolving issues
  • Contribute to new Finance Engineering initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent programming skills in Python and strong working knowledge of Pandas and PySpark libraries
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with integration of multiple platforms
  • Experience with ETL processes
  • Experience providing first‑line support for business clients
  • Full SDLC process experience
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal

Bonus Points:

  • Technical experience with Databricks or any similar Delta Lake platforms
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Experience with AWS cloud deployments and API
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Go, C#, or Java
  • Familiarity with financial statements (e.g. balance sheets, income statements / PnL)
  • Familiarity with Crypto trading (spot, DeFi, and derivatives)
