Senior Full Stack Developer

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Python frameworks like Flask and FastAPI.
• Build and optimize responsive user interfaces using React.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Develop and integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Maintain and improve existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile development ceremonies.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.

Skills and Experience You Will Need

Required:

• 5+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Python and TypeScript.
• Expertise in building APIs using Flask and/or FastAPI.
• Proficiency with React.js, HTML5, and CSS3 for building dynamic front-end applications.
• Solid understanding of REST API principles and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record of delivering production-ready full-stack applications.

Desired:

• Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Jest).
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
• Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
• Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
• Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
