Our client is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their busy design team. Candidates will need to be proficient with 2D/3D practices.
Main duties will include:
- Creation of detailed 3D/2D mechanical components and assemblies using industrial design software.
- Working closely with engineers, project managers and other professionals within the business to evaluate the feasibility of design, resolve design issues and ensure final products meet project requirements.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive design documentation including bill of materials, assembly instructions and design processes.
Candidate Attributes:
- Good knowledge and experience using Inventor Professional (other 3D modelling packages will also be considered).
- Experience working within a design office environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel).
