Job Title: Stock Control Administrator
Area: Thetford
Salary: £13.54 ph OT X 1.5 after 40 hrs
Shift Pattern: Mon to Fri 8.00am till 16.30
Job Type: Full-time, 12 weeks Temp to Perm
Main Responsibilities:
- To follow Company Policies, Procedures and Standards in the Company Quality Management System
Operational:
- Taking inbound bookings and updating chess diary with bookings
- Coordinating the good inwards process
- Despatching orders from the chess system
- Reporting customer extra charges from stock movements
- Customer order entry onto chess system and pre-allocated stock shortages report
- Despatching orders from the Chess system
- Front desk/gate controls and driver’s reception
Health & Safety:
- Be aware of the disciplinary implications for displaying any disregard to health and safety matters or the H & S of others
- Look after your own safety and that of anyone who could be affected by the things you do, or don’t do
- Take positive steps to understand the hazards in the workplace and to comply with safety rules and procedures
- Ensure all site inductions are carried out including permit to work for visitors and contractors
- Ensure that the correct PPE and safety equipment is used at all times.
- Maintain a high standard of Housekeeping at all times
Technical:
- To check that products / products storage conditions conform to Customer Specifications and inform relevant management regarding acceptance or rejection of the products
- To ensure that all Company documentation and records are completed as required by the Company Quality System
Other Responsibilities:
- Cover Logistics administrative duties as and when required
- Effective communication and answering phones quickly
- Assisting with perpetual stock checks
- Filing, and other basic admin tasks as necessary
