We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic NPI engineer to join their rapidly growing team in development. Candidate will need own transport due to the location of the premises and will have previous working experience in a similar position.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Generating project and product documentation in line with ISO 13485 and other requirements.
  • Developing product test methods, data analysis and evaluation to determine or prove design performance and reliability.
  • Working closely with the customer to understand and gather the relevant manufacturing requirements, information or needs in order to implement them into the project.
  • Working within specific project budget, timeline and resources to support the delivery of the product into manufacturing.
  • Providing support in validating new manufacturing lines and processes.
  • Generating regular project update reports.
  • Attending and sometimes organising regular internal and customer meetings.
  • Engaging relevant vendors and subcontractors to support the needs of the project.
  • Functioning within all quality systems and regulations, particularly related to medical devices.
  • Occasional UK travel may be required to satisfy the needs of the project.

This position will require organisational and communication skills (verbal and written), problem-solving skills, cross-functional teamwork and the ability to work independently.

Candidate attributes:

  • Previous practical experience in manufacturing, developing or testing.
  • Relevant mechanical or medical based engineering background qualifications or experience.
  • Full working knowledge of MS Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel etc.) and documentation writing skills.
