Working hours - Monday to Friday - Full time work

Capacity for role - Permanent position

Salary - Up to £50,000 per annum

Our client is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their busy design team. Candidates will need to be proficient with 2D/3D practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of detailed 3D/2D mechanical components and assemblies using industrial design software.
  • Working closely with engineers, project managers, and other professionals within the business to evaluate the feasibility of design, resolve design issues, and ensure final products meet project requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive design documentation including bill of materials, assembly instructions, and design processes.

Candidate Attributes:

  • Good knowledge and experience using Inventor Professional (other 3D modelling packages will also be considered).
  • Experience working within a design office environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel).
