Role – Technical Production Supervisor Location – Mildenhall, Suffolk Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours Capacity of role – Permanent position Salary - Up to £55,000 Per annum Our client is currently recruiting for a Technical production supervisor to join their leadership team. Main duties will include - * Managing all technical aspects of the Lathe Area, including machinery and ancillary equipment * Troubleshooting and resolving component machining issues alongside the Lathe team * Working closely with the Production Supervisor to motivate the team and meet output targets * Delivering technical training and support to members of the Lathe Area team * Liaising with Production Control to plan and meet departmental requirements * Coordinating with other departments to support wider business objectives * Supporting service engineer visits for machinery and ancillary equipment * Identifying, implementing, and driving process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives * Ensuring improvements are driven through to completion * Providing hands-on support to production when required to maintain output * Supporting team members as needed and assisting with general departmental requirements Candidate attributes – * This role would suit an experienced technical or manufacturing professional with strong machining knowledge and the ability to lead from the front in a high-pressure environment. * You’ll be confident solving problems, supporting teams, and driving continuous improvement. * Previous experience in CNC machining, multi-spindle lathes, or high-volume manufacturing environments would be highly beneficial
