Service Engineer role in Ipswich

Role – Mechanical service engineer Location – Norfolk/Suffolk Working hours – Monday to Friday – must be happy working away from home Capacity of role – Permanent position Pay Rate – Up to £22.00 per hour + accommodation + food allowance + overtime Our client is currently recruiting for a Mechanical service engineer to join their growing servicing team Candidates will have worked in a mechanical biased roles previously and will be looking to grow and develop their career within this role. Will be a methodical and articulate individual who has excellent attention to detail skills and the ability to juggle a multitude of roles at any given point. Main duties will include –  Emergency breakdown repairs, and heavy mechanical component replacements  Conduct thorough testing of product range in strict accordance with companys policies and procedures.  Troubleshoot intricate mechanical breakdowns and perform electro-mechanical fault-finding  Complete accurate digital service reports, record safety checks, update maintenance logs,  Follow rigid health and safety guidelines and conduct risk assessments before starting work Candidate attributes –  City and guilds level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering or equivalent.  Experience of mechanical biased maintenance duties.  Good communication skills – both written and verbal.  Ability to work within a team environment and happy to work away throughout the week  UK driving licence Skills Required Mechanical, Servicing, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Level 3 C & G, Driving licence Qualifications Required Level 3 in mechanical engineering, Driving licence Keywords Mechanical, Servicing, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Level 3 C & G, Driving licence
