Role β Coating inspector role Location β Based close to Thetford, Norfolk Working hours β Monday to Friday β Full time hours Salary β Β£40,000 β Β£50,000 per annum Capacity of role β Permanent position Our client is a leading manufacture who is looking for a Coating Inspector to join their busy workshop team. Candidates will have ideally worked in a similar position. Main duties will include β To support industrial coating quality control on new work scopes. Conducting thorough inspections of coatings applied to various components, structural steel, pipes etc. Assessing coating quality, adhesion, thickness, and overall condition. Identifying and document any defects or non-conformities. Monitoring and ensure compliance with standards and project specifications. Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures Review and approve inspection reports and test results. Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of inspection activities and quality control measures. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams regarding coating selection, application methods, and quality control procedures. Candidate Attributes β NACE Level 2 (or equivalent) Coating Inspector certification Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and codes.
