Area: Norfolk

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Days) 6am till 2pm

Permanent: Salary: Up to Β£42000 DOE

Overtime Extra at X1.25 during week and X1.5 at weekends

Holidays: 33 Days Including Bank Holidays going up to 38 with service

One of our prestigious clients is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly engineering team to do preventative and routine maintenance. A pretty key role at a business that keeps production moving.

If fixing, maintaining, and improving machinery is your thing, day to day, you'll be keeping production on track. From carrying out routine checks and emergency fixes to changing blades and keeping our kit running safely. You'll stay on top of the maintenance plan, step in quickly when breakdowns happen, and work with supervisors to keep everything running smoothly because we're always looking to get better.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical engineering experience is a must, but if you've got electrical skills too even better (and if not, we'll train you).
  • A forklift licence would be handy, though again, we can support you with that.
  • You'll be someone who can roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
  • Confident with a variety of engineering tasks, quick to diagnose problems, and calm under pressure.
