Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional to join their team as a Bookkeeper / Management Accountant. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone confident managing day-to-day bookkeeping while supporting the production of timely, insightful management accounts.
Main duties will include:
- Maintain and reconcile sales, purchase, and general ledgers
- Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- VAT returns and HMRC submissions
Candidate attributes:
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar finance role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Good Excel skills
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software, preferably Sage 50
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
