Role β Blast and Paint Supervisor Location β Based close to Thetford, Norfolk Working hours β Monday to Friday β Full time hours Capacity of role β Permanent position Salary β Β£34,000 β Β£36,000 per annum Our client is an established and well respected organisation who is currently recruiting for a blast and paint supervisor to support their workshop team. Main duties will include β β’ Promotion of Safety awareness and establish safe work practices β’ Instruct employees on these safe work practices and correct any unsafe working conditions β’ Ensure all equipment including PPE is maintained in good working order and removal of defective equipment β’ Participate in Job Hazard Assessments β’ Responsible for the overall health and safety of co-workers β’ Be diligent in managing personal behavior in compliance with HSQE requirements β’ To work under the instructions of Management and the Client β’ Work at all times within the parameters of the approved project planning and specification. β’ Maintain effective communications with relevant parties at all times β’ Be aware of all hazards associated with the coating equipment β’ Ordering of paint/equipment for workshop Candidate attributes β β’ 5 yearsβ experience and ICATβs or Train the Painter qualifications would be preferable. β’ Supervisory experience β’ Overhead crane trained β’ Blasting and paint application experience β’ Factory based experience with broad product knowledge β’ Experience of different application methods Skills Required Blasting, Painting, Quality control, Health and Safety, Coating, Supervisor, Qualifications Required ICAT , Driving licence Keywords Blasting, Painting, Quality control, Health and Safety, Coating, Supervisor
