Role – Blast and Paint Supervisor Location – Based close to Thetford, Norfolk Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours Capacity of role – Permanent position Salary – £34,000 – £36,000 per annum Our client is an established and well respected organisation who is currently recruiting for a blast and paint supervisor to support their workshop team. Main duties will include – • Promotion of Safety awareness and establish safe work practices • Instruct employees on these safe work practices and correct any unsafe working conditions • Ensure all equipment including PPE is maintained in good working order and removal of defective equipment • Participate in Job Hazard Assessments • Responsible for the overall health and safety of co-workers • Be diligent in managing personal behavior in compliance with HSQE requirements • To work under the instructions of Management and the Client • Work at all times within the parameters of the approved project planning and specification. • Maintain effective communications with relevant parties at all times • Be aware of all hazards associated with the coating equipment • Ordering of paint/equipment for workshop Candidate attributes – • 5 years’ experience and ICAT’s or Train the Painter qualifications would be preferable. • Supervisory experience • Overhead crane trained • Blasting and paint application experience • Factory based experience with broad product knowledge • Experience of different application methods Skills Required Blasting, Painting, Quality control, Health and Safety, Coating, Supervisor, Qualifications Required ICAT , Driving licence Keywords Blasting, Painting, Quality control, Health and Safety, Coating, Supervisor
