Role Blasting operative Location Attleborough, Norfolk Working hours Monday to Friday full time hours Capacity of role Permanent role Salary Up to £30,000 per annum Our client is looking for a workshop operative to assist with the smooth running of their production process. Applicants will need to be familiar with shot blasting and preparing materials for their processes. Main duties will include ? Setting up of blasting equipment ? Masking & Preparing items for blast cleaning ? Ensuring all materials are processed safely ? Preparing surfaces to approved standards in order that items can be painted ? Following strict safety regulations covering the use of potentially hazardous materials ? Carry out visual inspections of completed blasted items ? Liaising with management regarding queries on paperwork of jobs processed Candidate attributes – Blasting experience Factory based experience with broad product knowledge i.e., blast media etc. essential Experience of working to industry standards – essential Able to work independently and on own initiative Comfortable in a customer facing situation and able to represent the company in all environments Good communication skills Own transport due to the location of the business Skills Required Blasting, Engineering, Manufacturing, Preparing materials, Good commun…
