Solutions Architect in London

HALEON is looking for a Solution Architect who will support in designing, building and managing the Solution Architecture with an end-to-end accountability across the Sustainability programme.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders to develop, design and maintain interim and target state architecture for Haleon’s Sustainability Data Foundation, Microsoft Sustainability Manager and other ESG Reporting Requirements.
• Lead architectural assessments and enforce principles, patterns, and roadmaps for scalable solutions.
• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the platform, ensuring technical integrity, scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Evaluate proposed enhancements, features, and changes to assess architectural impact, risks, dependencies, and feasibility. Provide clear recommendations, sequencing options, and architecture inputs to roadmap planning.
• Provide technical leadership in large, cross-functional projects and data migration programmes.
• Conduct gap analysis between current and target states and define transition roadmaps and interim data flows.
• Support the engineering team to build solutions within architecture guardrails.
• Monitor the build to ensure outcomes meet technical requirements and architectural standards.
• Support the definition and design governance of foundational data layer and curated data assets.
• Ensure alignment of technology solutions with security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Establish strong relationships with key leaders, business partners and functions with the goal of fostering a collaborative approach to developing, managing, and sustaining good data management practices and operations.
• Document all artefacts in alignment with Haleon’s governance and documentation requirements.
• Align data flows to business capabilities and processes, highlighting potential improvements and benefits/value creation.
• Collaborate with Platform Architects, Tech Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to ensure the enterprise view of data is represented accurately with an application or solution scope and participate in architecture forums and review boards.
• Develop and lead end-to-end solution walkthroughs and to support formal assurance processes. Includes creating high quality supporting materials and facilitating walkthrough sessions.
• Review MSM technical deliverables on alignment to Haleon architecture standards.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Broader understanding of a CPG or Consumer healthcare industry and functional understanding of data from one or more business functions.
• Demonstrable experience in creating and managing an enterprise data architecture over a data platform architecture.
• Strong technical experience in guiding the design and delivery of data engineering pipelines for data migration, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards for scalability, data quality, and reliability.
• Must have Sustainability or ESG reporting experience.
• Proven architecture delivery experience with Microsoft Sustainability Manager, Azure/Databricks Data Platforms, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform Suite & Dataverse.
• Familiarity with data management principles and approaches is preferable but not mandatory.
• TOGAF, Azure fundamentals and Azure solution architecture beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment.
• Must be able to successfully manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
