Gainsborough Referrals is an independent veterinary referral practice based in Gainsborough. We carry out referral work in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, neurosurgery cases and CT imaging. We are looking for someone to take on our marketing, website content, social media and general online presence. This is a new role, so we need someone who can come in with ideas, tell us what needs improving, and help us put a proper plan in place. We are not looking for someone who only posts the odd Facebook update. We need someone who understands advertising, marketing, online sales, website design and how to turn interest into genuine enquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Helping us develop a stronger and more recognisable brand
- Creating and managing social media content
- Improving our website and helping plan future website design
- Coming up with marketing ideas to increase referrals
- Creating adverts, campaigns and printed/digital marketing material
- Looking at what is working and what is not
- Helping us communicate better with referring vets and pet owners
- Improving our Google presence and online visibility
We are looking for someone with experience in marketing, advertising, website design, platform design, social media content and/or online sales. You do not need to have worked in the veterinary industry before, although experience in healthcare, professional services, animals or a similar setting would be useful. You will need to be confident working independently and bringing your own ideas to the table. We are a small business, so this role would suit someone practical who is happy to get stuck in rather than just advise from the sidelines. The role can be full-time or part-time, working Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. Salary starts from £30,000 pro rata, depending on experience. There will also be a bonus once we can see that the marketing is having a real impact on referrals and sales.
