As the Market Intelligence Alliances Associate at Gain, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our proprietary insights and strengthening our leadership in the global private markets space. You will contribute to the development of our Market Intelligence Alliances vertical, a relatively new initiative aimed at unlocking unique data through strategic relationships with key market players.

Your tasks will include:

  • Relationship Building: Initiate and nurture partnerships with various private market stakeholders including GPs, LPs, advisors and lenders to source proprietary insights.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Convey excellent knowledge of the Gain product and the value propositions that champion data sharing.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with our Customer Success team to unlock proprietary data from existing clients and serve as a key point of contact for data‑sharing initiatives.
  • Data Acquisition Strategy: Design and implement scalable processes such as outreach campaigns and data contribution templates that make it easy for busy professionals to share complex information and helps increase the volume and relevance of proprietary data on the Gain platform.
  • Data Quality & Integration: Coordinate with the broader Research team to ensure the seamless verification and incorporation of proprietary data.

You present a proven track record in private markets, with strong familiarity with proprietary data acquisition methods. You demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. You have an existing good network within the private markets ecosystem, and a proven ability to leverage relationships for insights gathering is a plus. You are a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities. You are a proactive team player who excels at supporting peers and partnering with other internal teams.
