The role of a Videographer Editor is to produce exceptional production work that delights our clients and proves effective for their audiences. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes film - from shot form social content to campaign led films - and understands how storytelling, pacing and platform-native execution drive engagement.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee assigned video and photography production content from start to finish:
- Collaborate with client services and lead creative to plan and develop content, specific to client needs including all technical aspects.
- Advise client services and lead creative from a photo/video perspective prior to filming, to help determine the most achievable outputs.
- Confidently use all video, lighting, audio and editing equipment/software and be adept at shooting on location and in studio.
- Assist in troubleshooting and providing technical support for any production related enquiries.
- Confidently direct cast and crew to ensure all content is captured and produced to the highest quality and to brief.
- Prioritise workload and proactively manage multiple projects to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain excellent relationships with colleagues across the agency and external stakeholders.
- Keep production manager/lead creative and client services up-to-date on project progress, as well as any creative or technical needs throughout the course of a project, and flag any concerns or delays promptly.
- Ensure your timesheets are completed accurately and on time in Productive.
- Use your experience and knowledge of the latest content and shooting techniques to elevate production value and quality on every project.
- Work collaboratively with others in the team to adapt creative/technical skills to accomplish different outputs, providing feedback, suggestions and new ideas where appropriate.
- Keep up-to-date with new and relevant techniques, proactively test and refine, and identify opportunities and projects where these new techniques could be incorporated.
- Be aware of current trends and openly share ideas to enhance the creative output of the team.
- Manage the post production workflow from building and supplying selects through to final resizing and delivery of all content within any owned project and to deadline.
- Advise alternative solutions to amends with lead creative and producer/client service.
- Manage and maintain ingesting, transferring and quality checking files and footage onto our internal network and server.
- Ensure project files, RAW footage and assets of completed projects are backed up on internal servers.
- Adapt video assets for different formats, ratios and placements.
- Create platform native video for all channels.
Requirements

- Have an excellent understanding of camera operation, lighting and editing software including BlackMagic camera systems and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent technical acumen to be able to operate, configure, set up, and fix video, audio, lighting, or other production equipment.
- Mentor, advise and help guide more junior members of the team.
