As a self-starter with a proactive mindset, you will be an integral part of our small, dynamic and friendly team. Collaborating closely with the other Programme Coordinator, Programme Manager and Programme Director, your role will be pivotal in the day-to-day administration, running and management of the GAIN programmes. This involves liaising with students, companies and volunteers to actively shape the planning and delivery of the programmes.
As a Programme Coordinator you will help plan and organise our flagship GAIN Empower Investment Internship Programme and GAIN Investment Insight Programme, encompassing both online and in-person formats. This role will involve the use of Microsoft Office, Teams, Salesforce, Zoom, Notion and an applicant tracking system (ATS) Pinpoint. Prior experience with these technologies is not necessary, but you must be confident in your ability to pick up new skills efficiently.
We’re looking for a highly organised individual to assist the team in all facets relating to GAIN programmes, demonstrating effective and confident communication at all levels. You must be able to work independently and possess a strong team player mentality. As a small charity, we value a flexible approach and a positive “can-do” attitude.
While this role is home-based, you will need to be willing to travel to London (currently 2 x’s a quarter) and sometime work flexible hours to meet the organisations’ needs (eg. A number of programme events are held in the evening).
Main responsibilities:
· Assist with the planning, promoting and delivery of, high-quality, impactful programmes
· Liaise with students, volunteers and participating investment firms
· Collate feedback from students and stakeholders and use learnings to enhance future programmes
· Collaborate with the Programme Coordinator, Programme Manager and Programme Director to continuously adapt and grow our offerings
Our ideal candidate will have:
· 1-2 years’ experience of working in an administrative role (including work experience, internships)
· Fantastic organisational skills and excellent attention to detail – must be able to multi-task effectively, manage workload independently and enjoy working in a busy environment
· Strong communication skills, both written and oral, confident in presenting, and outstanding interpersonal skills
· Comfortable responding to comments and queries; using initiative
· Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and Teams)
· Interest in financial services (you do not need prior knowledge regarding investment management, but you should be eager to learn)
· Interest in charitable endeavours
· Demonstrated passion for gender equality and GAIN’s mission
Desirable Skills and Experience:
· Experience of programme coordination and/or talent/career development programmes
· Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders
· Experience using a CRM or ATS
· Prior employment with a charity

The details:
Employment type: full time, permanent, flexible working around team core hours
Location: home-working, with ad-hoc travel (usually to London) as required. The candidate needs to reside in the United Kingdom and must have the right to work in the United Kingdom on a permanent basis.
