We are seeking an experienced eCommerce Manager to join our DTC team within a larger organisation. Reporting to the Operations Director, this role will play a key part in our growth over the next year, owning the digital roadmap and leading key website projects. Our DTC team currently manages four brands operating across multiple Shopify stores and third‑party channels. We plan to launch at least one additional brand in the coming year and significantly invest in scaling our current offering.
You will own end‑to‑end digital commerce operations and product strategy, leading growth planning, trading performance, and optimisation. The role involves close collaboration with digital marketing, procurement (for product development, placement, and merchandising), and customer service to ensure customer insights shape improvements. This collaboration extends externally to our third‑party development team and any other external agents we may use for specific projects. We aim to create a seamless, delightful customer experience from browsing to post‑purchase.
You will use data, testing, and cross‑functional collaboration to improve the web experience across multiple touchpoints, including A/B testing and conversion‑rate optimisation. This is a varied, strategic, and hands‑on role offering autonomy, exposure across the business, and strong support. It is well suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced SME environment.
Key Projects (6‑12 months)- Development of eCommerce roadmap
- Launch of a new eCommerce brand, including Shopify store creation and any required channel integrations
- Enhance our University & Accommodation Provider Portal
- Overhauling our existing Shopify stores/themes
- Develop and execute our eCommerce strategy to increase customer acquisition and drive growth against commercial targets.
- Manage and optimise all eCommerce platforms, including Shopify stores and marketplaces such as Amazon and Etsy.
- Analyse performance data and work closely with our marketing team to improve customer experience and conversion rates.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure smooth execution of eCommerce initiatives.
- Drive online merchandising strategy, ensuring strong category performance, accurate content, and appealing visuals.
- Implement and own A/B testing and CRO initiatives to continuously improve site performance.
- Manage the digital roadmap and backlog within Notion.
- Maintain accurate data across our stores.
- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, product leadership, or similar roles, ideally within an SME or high‑growth environment.
- Highly organised with strong prioritisation and deadline management skills; a proactive communicator.
- Expertise in Shopify and analytics tools (GA4, Looker, etc.).
- Comfortable working independently, drawing insights, and driving projects forward.
- Proven success driving online revenue growth across multiple channels.
- Strong commercial acumen, including understanding of budgets and contribution margins.
- Experience in digital marketing, CRO, and UX best practices.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience managing external agencies or freelancers.
- Analytical and creative problem‑solver with strong data literacy.
- Enthusiasm for digital experiences, with clear opinions on website/app performance and improvements.
