We have an exciting opportunity for an experiencedRetail Travel Consultant to join a growing travel business backed by one of the UK's best-known media brands.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and highly experienced travel seller who loves creating exceptional holidays and wants to work with an affluent, engaged customer base.
Working from home, you will manage customer enquiries from initial conversation through to booking and beyond, creating bespoke itineraries across luxury tailor-made travel, cruise and touring. You'll take ownership of the complete customer journey, building strong relationships and delivering a highly personalised service.
You'll work directly with hotels, airlines, cruise lines and tour operators to create seamless travel arrangements, while also using your destination and product knowledge to develop exciting new itineraries and holiday ideas.
Alongside converting incoming enquiries, you'll proactively engage with existing customers, identify new sales opportunities and work towards ambitious sales targets and KPIs.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of five years' experience in a retail travel sales environment, with strong knowledge of luxury and tailor-made holidays. Cruise experience would be a real advantage.
You'll be confident selling over the telephone and digitally, highly organised and comfortable managing complex bookings from start to finish. Most importantly, you'll be commercially driven, passionate about travel and genuinely enjoy creating memorable holidays for your customers.
First-hand travel experience across destinations such as Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada or Asia would be particularly valuable.
The role is home-based and operates on a roster, including some Saturday working, with additional weekend flexibility required as the business extends its opening hours.
