A senior role acting as a Business Partner to drive sales operational excellence across the commercial organisation. Acting as the key connector between the Global and Market Teams to improve sales and commercial processes, trade engagement strategies, seamless aligned activity and execution.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Driving process Improvement & Operational Excellence: Leading the identification and implementation of process improvements across all commercial sales operations, with a primary focus on B2B partner servicing.
- Global–Market Alignment: Acting as the operational link between global commercial teams and regional/market teams. Ensure alignment on processes, tool usage, programme execution, and performance tracking. Facilitate clear two-way communication, bringing market needs and challenges into global decision-making. Identify and remove operational blockers impacting commercial performance.
- Trade Engagement Programme Ownership: Owning and managing global trade engagement programmes and activities, including FAM trips, trade learning and training initiatives, B2B loyalty and incentive programmes and ensuring consistent execution across markets while allowing for local adaptation where required. Tracking effectiveness and ROI of engagement programmes, continuously refining approach to maximise impact.
- Standardisation & Simplification: Drive standardisation of tools, processes, and ways of working across markets to reduce complexity. Simplify operational models to ensure clarity for both internal stakeholders and external partners. Balance the need for global consistency with market-specific requirements, enabling flexibility without unnecessary deviation.
- Continuous Improvement & Change Leadership: Continuously assess commercial operations across all channels, identifying opportunities for improvement regardless of ownership. Challenge existing ways of working and lead change initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
The role requires a strong understanding of B2B within Travel, ideally with experience across a variety of markets, great stakeholder management skills, highly commercial and strategic but able to be hands on and deliver detailed process improvements and effectiveness.
