Senior Environmental Engineer We are looking for a Senior Environmental Engineer to join an expanding team. This role involves contributing to diverse environmental engineering projects and supporting the growth of the organization. Can be based in Northern UK.
Responsibilities
Conduct environmental permitting, including Industrial Emissions Directive compliance through PPC/EPR/IPC, and liaise with regulatory bodies.
Perform air quality impact assessments using models such as D1, H1, or ADMS.
Develop and specify water and air pollution control strategies in line with BAT principles.
Support the design and implementation of industrial wastewater treatment solutions.
Perform water efficiency audits and identify resource efficiency improvements.
Conduct environmental noise assessments following standards like BS 4142 or BS 5228.
Undertake flood risk assessments and other hydrology-related evaluations.
Provide technical expertise to engineering projects and engage in marketing and business development to identify new opportunities.
Requirements
Honours or Master’s Degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, physical sciences, or a related field.
Consultancy experience in one or more relevant disciplines.
Full U.K. driving licence with a clean record.
Professional chartership(s) is highly desirable.
