One of our clients is seeking a skilled Utility Surveyor to join their accomplished team of surveyors, engineers, and technicians. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality, varied, and engaging work while conducting detailed surveys to map and record underground utilities and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive utility surveys using GPR, electromagnetic locators, and other advanced tools.
- Accurately identify, locate, and map underground utility systems.
- Process survey data and generate detailed reports and drawings.
- Ensure all work meets PAS128 standards and adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to achieve project goals.
- Provide technical expertise and support to junior surveyors.
- Assist in preparing method statements and risk assessments.
- Support multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Utility Surveyor to PAS128 standards.
- Level 3 qualification in Utility Mapping and Surveying or equivalent.
- Proficiency in GPR and electromagnetic locating equipment (experience with total stations and GPS is beneficial).
- Strong data processing and reporting experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, including night shifts when required.
