Our client is opening a brand new assessment site in Worcester, and we're recruiting the founding team of Functional Assessors. You'll carry out Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments, using your clinical knowledge and communication skills to understand how a person's health condition or disability affects their daily life, and producing high-quality written reports for the DWP.

  • Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD) NMC registered
  • Physiotherapists HCPC registered
  • Occupational Therapists HCPC registered

Broad clinical experience is more important than a specialist background we welcome applicants from acute, community, mental health and primary care settings.

Your evenings and weekends back: Monday to Friday, sociable hours, and genuine flexibility with full-time and part-time options.

Hybrid working: a blend of clinic-based assessments at the new Coventry site and working from home.

Full salary from day one including a comprehensive, fully paid training programme (no unpaid study time).

Keep your registration: your NMC or HCPC registration is maintained and revalidation supported.

One person at a time: structured appointments where you can give each individual your full attention, without the pressure of an understaffed unit or an ambulance queue.

Conduct PIP assessments face-to-face, by telephone and by video.

Work autonomously with the backing of clinical support, coaching and a structured quality framework.
