A family based in Notting Hill are looking for a wonderful Rota Nanny to care for their children B3 and G1. The role is 24/7 but you will have a self-contained space for your working weeks. The children are both great sleepers so the nanny will have plenty of rest during their weeks on.

The 3 year old boy is an energetic, sweet-natured child who thrives in a calm, structured environment. He is naturally shy so would work well with an emotionally intuitive Nanny who can build his confidence over time. He will start nursery from September, 3 days a week 9am 4pm, and two mornings a week from 9am 11.45am.

The 1-year-old girl is outgoing and expressive, often described as an old soul. Shes confident, content, and particularly enthusiastic about mealtimes. She currently sleeps through the night (6:30pm8am) and is in a great routine. The family are keen the children get out and about during the day, including a daily walk / play in the park as well as organising extra classes and regular activities.

This role would suit a thoughtful, emotionally intelligent nanny with solid experience caring for toddlers and babies, and ideally a background in early years or childhood development. A calm, cheerful energy and strong organisational skills are key.

The parents like to be hands-on where they can, but with very busy careers owning their own businesses, they do need someone confident and capable, who would also be happy to support with proxy care when both parents need to travel.

The role will include all the typical nursery duties such as preparing healthy meals, keeping the childrens areas clean and tidy, keeping the childrens supplies stocked, organising wardrobes, packing bags for travelling, scheduling appointments and organising age-appropriate activities.

It would be a bonus for the family to have a nanny who loved to cook, as they consider themselves to be foodies! The have a wonderful housekeeper who has been with them for 7 years, who does the childrens laundry and some cooking for the family. The also have an EA who works from the home two days a week.

Some holiday travel will be required. Confident driver preferred.
