A private family of five, recently relocated from London to Newcastle, are seeking a nanny to join their household on a long-term basis. Discretion, strong security awareness and professionalism are essential, as the family place high importance on privacy.
The family have three children aged 6 years, 4 years and 9 months. The role will primarily focus on the baby during the week; however, the nanny must be confident caring for all children when required, particularly during busier periods.
Mum is a self-employed doula with a flexible schedule. Dad has a demanding and often changeable timetable, the family therefore require a nanny who can offer some flexibility, including occasional later finishes. The family are flexible on daily hours, and so when a later finish occurs, they are happy for a later start the next day.
The family currently reside in central Newcastle and will relocate to Ponteland in May. The area is not easily accessible by public transport, so a confident driver with their own car for commuting is required. A vehicle will be provided for all child-related duties.
The household has a small dog and plans to welcome further animals once settled in their new home. A nanny who is comfortable and confident around animals will therefore be important.
Travel is minimal, though there may be occasional trips between Newcastle and London. Some flexibility around this would be appreciated.
