Role: Full-time Daily Nanny

Location: Ravenscourt Park, London

Salary: £44,000-£66,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)

Schedule: Term time: 7:30-5:30pm | School holidays: 9:00am-5:30pm.

Children: Girl, 4

Start Date: ASAP (willing to wait for the right person)

A family based in Ravenscourt Park are seeking a full-time daily nanny for their confident, sociable 4-year-old daughter, who turns 5 in July. This is a long-term role with a lively household, and a family who are planning to grow. G4 attends pre-reception at a local school.

During term time, the role runs as 7.30am-9.30am for the morning shift to get G4 ready and to school. There are then hours during the day to cover nursery duties such as organisation of bedroom, playroom and wardrobe, plus cooking and activity planning. Afternoons run from 3:00-5:30pm for pick-up, after-school clubs and playdates. During the school holidays, the role moves to 9:00am-5:30pm.

G4 is a bright, outgoing little girl who loves being around people. She has tennis and swimming afterschool during the week, and really enjoys hosting friends for playdates! The family are looking for a nanny who genuinely enjoys this side of the role, is confident getting stuck in with activities and organising the day, and equally good at holding boundaries when needed.

The family are well connected in the local nanny community and would love someone who enjoys being part of that. Dad works in tech and travels between London and San Francisco, heading out roughly once a month. Mum works in healthcare and is currently in the office a couple of days a week, with plans to increase. The family travel to California each summer for a couple of weeks to a month, and need a nanny who is happy to travel with them.

Day-to-day the role covers school drop-offs and pick-ups, hosting and supervising playdates, cooking simple healthy meals for G4 (mum loves a Mediterranean style), laundry for G4, and general nursery duties. No housekeeping beyond the children's area.

The family recently welcomed a chocolate spaniel puppy. A dog walker comes three to four times a week, so there are no dog duties required, though someone who likes animals and is happy to let the puppy out occasionally would be ideal. A driver is preferable, though mum is happy to cover the Tuesday tennis drop-off if needed, so it is not a deal-breaker.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS
  • Paediatric first aid
