A down-to-earth, friendly American/British family based in Parsons Green, Fulham, are looking for a nanny to join their family on a long-term basis. They have two boys, a four‑year‑old who attends school locally and a three‑year‑old who attends a nursery not too far away from school. The family are preparing to welcome their third baby due in May. Mum will be at home with the children for at least a year, so this will be a shared‑care role.
They are looking for someone whose personality is comfortable working closely alongside mum and someone who genuinely enjoys a collaborative approach. The family will be relocating in the coming months from Munster Road, Fulham, to a larger family home closer to school near Parsons Green.
They have previously worked with a Norland Nanny and were truly blown away by the exceptionally high standard of care, warmth, and professionalism. Therefore, they are seeking a Norland Nanny or a nanny of a similar calibre – someone who is hoping to stay with a family for years, truly becoming part of their home and playing a key role in their children's lives.
The right person will be a genuine partner to Mum in the day‑to‑day parenting of the three children, offering loving, compassionate, but firm guidance, using imagination, play, and consistency to help their children thrive and develop. A cheerful, calm, and positive presence in their home is essential.
Homework and learning support for the eldest is expected. While he is only in reception, they would love a nanny who can confidently and gently support him with phonics, early maths worksheets, and regular reading practice.
A willingness to ride their electric cargo bike is required. They use an Amladcykler electric cargo bike daily to get the children to school, activities and around the neighbourhood. A driver is not essential, though it would be a bonus.
