We are a growing company offering an excellent salary package, overtime opportunities, and benefits including a large annual bonus, generous holidays, a 10% contributory pension scheme, and a gym allowance. This role is ideal for a qualified electrical engineer with experience in low‑voltage and electrical maintenance across production engineering, process plant, or live site industries. Candidates with background in chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, oil and gas, energy, water, utilities, nuclear, hazardous live sites, or refinery process plants will be of distinctive interest.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out corrective (non‑routine) and preventative (routine) electrical and instrumentation maintenance and modifications.
- Assist operations at production facilities, including troubleshooting and implementing solutions.
- Report directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications:
- Good electrical maintenance skills; experience as an electrical engineer, electrical technician, electro‑mechanical technician, or similar roles in plant or high‑risk industry.
- Engineering qualifications: apprenticeship trained, NVQ level 3, ONC in Electrical, HNC Electrical or electro‑mechanical qualifications.
- Low‑voltage experience – essential.
- Willingness for long‑term commitment to training in instrumentation and high voltage.
- Maintenance experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, oil & gas, energy, water, utilities, nuclear, hazardous live sites and refinery process plants.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for remote site travel.
- Full eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
- Knowledge of DSEAR / ATEX regulations, HV, and high‑voltage electrical systems desirable but trainable.
