Job Title: Technical Compliance Administrator Location: Preston, Lancashire, UK Salary: £29,000 – £33,000 per annum depending on experience Job type: Full time, Permanent Gafoor is a dynamic and rapidly growing family-owned business in Preston to recruit an administrator to work within the Technical / quality team. Gafoor is a key player in their sector operating on a national basis, supplying poultry products to leading blue chip manufacturers. About the Role: The role will take on the responsibility for maintaining the administration systems required for various quality accreditations such as BRC and Red Tractor. This role would ideally suit a graduate with a few years experience in a BRC food manufacturing business. Key Responsibilities: Updating of systems and procedures to develop best practice within the business and ensure conformity to BRC Updating and maintaining product specifications for customers and own internal finished product specifications. Factory Data management, trending reports and input Responding to customer complaints including root cause, corrective and preventive actions, reporting and trending complaints Interpreting, trending, and Reporting of micro results Coordinate Internal Audit Schedule and assisting with Internal Audits Conduct traceability exercises Report writing to close out compliance or third-party audits Initiating Corrective action follow ups Taking meeting minutes and circulating within the Quality / Technical team Taking an active role in the maintenance of the Site HACCP and Quality Management plans Maintenance of waste transfer records About you: Key attributes and skills: A Degree in food science or equivalent and an understanding of QMS and HACCP systems is desirable but not essential Knowledge and experience of implementing BRC standards Excellent collaboration and communication skills Excellent written and verbal English is essential Excellent organisational skills The ability to manage multiple projects and demands Excellent I.T skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
