As our Health and Safety Manager, you will be instrumental in implementing and managing health, safety, and environmental policies. You will ensure legal compliance and support continuous improvement in safety standards across our operations. Excellent communication skills and team work are a must for this role as well as a flexible and proactive approach to ensure the needs of the business are met., * Develop and enforce health and safety policies aligned with UK legal requirements and industry best practices

Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards

Deliver safety training and promote a positive health and safety culture.

Collaborate with all departments to drive safety and assist them in operational considerations daily and when undertaking larger projects.

Investigate accidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.

Oversee environmental safety compliance to support overall business objectives

Report to the Senior Management team with solutions and strategies for continuous improvement of the health and safety culture.

Qualification in occupational health and safety, such as a masters, NVQ, BSC or NEBOSH national diploma

Proven experience in health and safety, preferably in the food industry.

Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC).

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
