With 500 employees and a 24/5 operation spanning live intake through to finished product distribution, we are at a pivotal stage in our growth.
About The Role
Working within a dynamic FMCG environment, you will take ownership of the delivery of minor works projects including associated contractor and supplier management, project tracking and cost control, whilst ensuring all compliance and safety standards are adhered to. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that requires strong organisation, communication, and commercial awareness. Working hours could be flexible on discussion to ensure weekend installations can be carried out where required. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of minor works across the manufacturing, utilities and infrastructure environment. The role would suit a junior Project Engineer looking for their next role or an experienced manufacturing engineer looking to step into their first project role. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role and therefore candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Maintenance planning: Work OEM data and read technical specifications to use and drive improved maintenance practices across the business.
- Stakeholder management: Work with Engineering, production, quality and external providers to build a cooperative approach to ensure an improving maintenance regime.
- System Administration: Maintain and update the site CMMS for accurate tracking and reporting, keeping audit documentation up to date and training records for the maintenance team.
- Process Improvement: Drive efficiency, reduce costs, and implement best practice within the maintenance remit.
- Implementation: Measure and report on the effectiveness of the maintenance regime.
