What is the job role?
We are currently seeking a Production Technician to be responsible for producing equipment as required by the Production Supervisor and carrying out workshop repairs and services on Gael Force Marine Technology equipment returned by customers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out the manufacture of aquaculture products in accordance to build procedures.
- Carry out repairs of returned equipment in accordance with the repair’s procedure.
- Carry out on-going service work.
- Carry out pre-installation and preparatory work in the aquaculture workshop.
- To carry out field work as required.
- Test manufactured products.
- Assist in the diagnosis of faults on customer sites if required.
- Adhere to company and customer Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain clear, concise, and accurate records of product manufacturing.
- Record and produce accurate timesheets and job sheets.
What you’ll need:
- HNC or extensive experience in relevant Engineering subject (Mechanical).
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Electrical experience/skills (incl. soldering).
- Supervisory experience.
